Asian American: Tackling the Monolith


Inspired by the Instagram post created by @syeda.c regarding class disparity among Asian Americans, I created an interactive web activity that highlights the importance of disaggregated data in the census. I used data from Asian Americans Advancing Justice's 2010 census report called "Communities of Contrast" and took four of the socio-economic indicators that represented overall wealth to be used in the activity.

The player must rank the different sub-APA groups according to what they believe is correct based on the socio-economic indicator and then compare their answer with the actual ranking.
